Playing House

Many moons ago I spent a lot of time in my holidays (and a lot of UHU) putting together this little house of matchsticks. Somehow the roof has always sagged, but I'm the kind of guy who's more compulsive of symmetry than an actual perfectionist when it comes to this sort of thing. Meaning: so long as it's a balanced sag, I can pretend that the little matchstick people have a roof problem. The little thing above the doorway looks here like a farmer's hat, but it's supposed to be a satellite TV dish. Which I can pretend is due to the roof problem. These people should take care of their house a little more, eh. :P

I'm thinking over a suggestion to kill more time (which is, seriously, really killing me) by starting off a new blog. I'm thinking of a one-theme blog entitled "My Weird Dreams", real dreams, and crackpot interpretations by a Madam Zorro. We'll see.

Maybe that's the true origin of the Minangkabau roof, not the "stylized kerbau horns" that they claim it is....

Too much time on your hands? SIgh. Wish I had time to blog more.
