Two Wheels and Falling Leaves

Singers (or is the more apt term "vocalists"?) may find this link interesting. And interesting also is the blog for PFS Scout Troop 8th South, as was commented in the last blog posting - though there's a typo in that address there, use the one listed above.

This and last month will probably go down as the busiest I have ever been so far, every single day is packed with either a rehearsal or a concert - except for Loy Kratung next week when I'm taking a lesson. My first wife by chronology not commitment (aka my violin), is apt to punish me by being continually out of tune, both because of lack of use of the strings, and my fingers being adulterous, and I'm fairly certain that I'm in doubt in the spelling department in this sentence too. Not to mention grammar. Oops, was that a sentence fragment?

Which reminds me that in my first ever spelling test as a young kid in the States, I got every item spelled correctly - except I spelled the title "Speling Test". An early sign of a career as a violist, no doubt.

The Bangkok Symphony concert was good for the most part, and since the other ensembles use recordings instead of playing it live, I was happy that the orchestra played the Royal Anthem three times during the course of the performance (owing to the concert being in celebration of the King's birthday anniversary). It really is the most beautiful piece, matched only by the national anthem of South Africa, which in turn owes some of its grandeur to the four languages employed in its lyrics.

I'm really looking forward to the States, and have decided on going in the Fall semester in September 2006. This gives a nice amount of time to spend in Penang, KL and a visit to Singapore. My dreams revolve around cycling amongst falling leaves.

Andrew, your marital woes are nothing like mine. Arranged marriage failed (piano) but is now being resuscitated by a second arrangement by college rather than by parents. Marriage of love (violin) is going well but is time consuming. Love her nonetheless. Finally, took flute as a concubine (how apt the timing of your post, as I was just reading something on the role of concubines in Chinese society for history) but had to let go and give her to my brother.

Maybe it's just as well I don't have a gf yet.

amazing that how many first marriage failed... mine (half voluntory, the keyboard) lasted for eight years till a point when i could no longer stand it, so i decided never to marry again. lover is better, like my current one, much more spontaneous, less restrictive, and most importantly, passion to my cello never dies even when i'm in trouble physically/psychologically--so this is the power of true love?

aha... *sigh*

...you know the bitter regret when you actually had the partner you were meant for, but then you didn't appreciate it / know how to put the right effort into the relationship, and then it's too late to make up and start over?

*mournful sigh*

Wah, if I am the one supplying lu a gigolo, what does that make me? A King-pimp? hehehe...

I think Teng mentioned in the chatbox that he may be back in May.
