Recital Fall '06: Gigue

A second installment of the Fall Recital. Here is the Gigue of Bach's Cello Suite No. 3 in C major live at the Fall String Studio Recital.

Though technically this movement had more errors than the Prelude, I am rather happy with it... as much as one can be proud of it while tiptoeing on the Line of the Diva (think line dancing with a mirror). There were a few surprises in interpretation that were more a result of being on stage than pre-planning, and there's a little section in the second half where my fingers for some reason didn't shift which prompted a little baroque improvisation...

I recommend listening to this with black olives and pepperoni on a light biscuit, with distilled water with a touch of lemon.
