Moving Pictures
A picture of the past.
I remember the old movie theaters, back when they were actually called that instead of cineplexes. Creaky seats, ancient bubble gum and pet rodents, but still, it had a certain something. Like more authentic popcorn, and somehow going to the movies was an event, and the place was a real location, not part of a larger shopping complex - and of course, hand-placed letters announcing what's on the screen. And yes, very often, that's singular, for a most singular occasion.
