If you know what I mean

If one needs to stay up all night packing, there's nothing like a strong dose of Vietnamese tea. Zoom bang zawawa! Brrrfum kabaz zoolah! If you know what I mean. :P

Unfortunately, that means I'm running effectively on a time zone quite foreign to this part of the world, who knows, maybe I'll keep this up and in a year's time going to the States will fit in just fine.

Thought I had limited my packing but still ended up paying overweight fees (for the smart alecs: for my baggage, not me! :P ) amounting to roughly the price of a new AirAsia ticket, which, well, added together still amounts to only half of that of Thai Airways flight with that kind of baggage capacity.

It's setting in that I'm actually back resident in Malaysia, even though I'll be back in Thailand quite a bit. I've affirmed my previous hypothesis that people tend to walk faster the further south you go in this region. And I've used more colorful language in the past 12 hours than I have in the past 12 months thanks to the continual declination of any form of sense in Penang drivers.

Somehow, jet lag or whatever has made me think about how some animals would fare in the wild. Like chickens or cows. Chances are they wouldn't make it, methinks. Also it's been weird hearing Eminem over the speakers in Watsons, and Christmas carols in Kamdar. And somehow I seem to like the phrase, "You're as subtle as a prize horse in the rain."

And I still have no idea what the heck that means.
