The concert was a blast – with a medium-sized but very supportive audience. The program was enough for two concerts, with a total of 18 pieces, and 3 encores that we had looked at only at the dress rehearsal. The Thai songs in particular were very popular with the crowd, and Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani – who knows a thing or tune about music herself – seemed visibly pleased.
Two more concerts are planned this year, and if the Masters doesn’t get in the way, it looks like I’ll gladly continue my participation in the group. There are ideas to have a tour to The National University of Singapore and to Penang, if opportunity knocks.
